WinTrust’s role in the Computer Engineering industry can be perceived as having the same monitoring role as supervising companies in the Construction industry. On one hand, there is this company responsible for executing the work (build a house or build an information system) and, on the other hand, there is this other company responsible for assuring the quality of the final product. WinTrust’s role is to test and assess the quality of the product before it is delivered to the end user.
In 2008, the company entered the certification process based on the ISO-9000:2008 standard, strengthening its market presence by offering Test Automation services based on a unique worldwide methodology called High Automated Testing Cells. With this methodology, that same year, WinTrust won a testing service contract with Caixa Geral de Depósitos (the largest Portuguese bank) to test their new Retail Banking Platform.
WinTrust‘s expertise in Test Automation has steadily grown since then. Today, we are one of the undisputed worldwide leaders in this area, much thanks to our R&D centre where we develop testing tool add-ons, which complement other utilities available on the market and enhance the efficiency of the automated testing process.
In 2010, WinTrust once again achieved the market recognition of its key-differentiator for total independence and rigour, by obtaining its qualification as a NearShore Centre (Testing Lab) as per the ISO/IEC 17025 standard, ranked as the first and only national company to perform software certification testing.
In 2018, WinTrust embraced InnoWave Group to leverage its good references to other geographies, becoming a Global and Worldwide company.
In 2020, WinTrust has created its STAR methodology (Software Testing Application Reliability) to address Digital Transformation initiatives, supported by a Maturity Level Model which addresses UX/UI skills, tool’s integration for automation, business and IT alignment complemented by Program Management best practices.
